Excellent service and great menu options. We tried to make a reservation at 6pm but they said it was full so we scheduled for an earlier time but 6pm came and the restaurant was still as empty as when we first arrived. Cocktail menu was fun and banana cream pie to die for.

Service was good, but had to remind server of one dish I ordered. So, I ate Spam Musubi, Robata mushrooms and the steak special that night thatwas teriynaki glazed with mashed taters and asparagus. All delicious. I did have to take a double take at the spam musubi.. I'm used to it being served like other rolls and be sliced..it wasnt. It did look nice though, and after I sliced.it to be able to eat it, it was delicious. Lightly breaded, fried spam slice on top of sushi rice, wrapped in seaweed. Robata mushrooms tasted like grilled beef - yum!.. Then that steak dish. WoW!. Aged and marinated witj teriyaki and soy.. Grilled great! See my pics - spam musubu, steak, and empty plate... All in all very good dishes for good prices! Its in the Loews.hotel but get the car valeted by the hotel valets and get that ticket validated so it's free!

First, we showed up at the restaurant two minutes before closing. For those who haven't worked in a restaurant, it is a little rude to show up anywhere near closing time because it takes a while to clean up a kitchen. The manager there welcomed us and assured us that it was OK. This made us feel comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and the food was fantastic. We ordered the meat platter which tasted delicious and also got the crème brûlée for dessert. Overall, we were pleased with the food. I would recommend eating here on special occasions because of prices but definitely come here!

Fantastic food and impeccable service! We were in for our 2nd anniversary and they accommodate to our vegan requests no problem. Chef sent complementary items, even a dessert with Happy Anniversary written in white chocolate sign. Our server Chris was great, very attentive and meticulous about our order. Manager stop by to check on how everything was going and the entire staff was very welcoming. The style, decorations, lighting and music all blend perfect into a very accommodating ambiance. The Ahi Tuna Tartare, the Calamari and Ell nigiri were all very good; the desserts were really incredible, starting with the Key Lime Pie, Coconut Sorbet and the best dessert was for sure their Signature Creme Brulee, which was out of this world delicious. I've been to the Original Emeril's in Tchoupitoulas Street in New Orleans and no doubts that was great as well, but the flair of this restaurant at Universal Orlando is very unique and spectacular. Thanks for a great night! Definitely will come back again and it is highly recommended!

We went for lunch and the food was mediocre and service was terrible. We were one of only two tables in the restaurant and there were so many issues, you're better off going to the pool bar for food. Don't waste your money here. Make sure to read the fine print the free dessert is one per table. Management was less than helpful. Never again.

Scallop perfectly cooked and tasty.. Lamb perfectly cooked with excellent garnish.. Great presentation and each food tastes so differently and delicious, yet adhering to the cuisine style. Excellent service. One of the best restaurants I visited in a very long time.

Very attentive service. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. The food is the star attraction. We sampled a variety of items and drinks, entrees, appetizers and we were really impressed by the wide variety of bold flavors. The range of creative expression is fulfilled with quality discovery... bite after savory bite. It is a sensory experience and one probably lost on anyone expecting a normal night out.

Waitress wasn't attending to our needs. Didn't get everything published on Thanksgiving menu after paying 50 per person. Had to ask for refills on drinks & took long time B4 getting any food & long wait between courses. Then at last minute told the cheesecake I ordered was not available but it listed on menu. Restroom for women was not clean & basin wouldn't drain. :-(
