We used to come to this place regularly before they changed owners. Back then the food was (pricey) but very unique and the service was great. Today we came for brunch and what of disappointment! The food was good but they bumped the pricing even more...example.. olives for 9... yes only olives...my veggie skillet was a little too spicy.. well that's my taste, but the service was pretty bad. Our server let us waiting for our drinks for a long time, after a while I had to ask someone else for drinks. The person who is at the front desk seating ( who was 3 ft far) woudnt noticed our empty glasses... the server took a long time to check on us even when the place was pretty slow... we won't be back.

OK the food and the drinks were great. Great atmosphere and service. Don't order the skirt steak. Was a letdown once it hit the table. I don't see how you can cook a 1/8in thick piece of meat the size of a deck of cards to a medium temperature. That plate was the only letdown. Order the pork belly and anything with figs.

Excellent food and service. We've been here twice before, once for brunch and then for dinner. For dinner we had a 42 oz ribeye (shared between two of us), which was amazing. The chef is apparently a bit of a perfectionist as it took a while to get our steak..he evidently threw out the first one because it wasn't cooked right. They then proceeded to comp it for us, which was quite unexpected...we were patient so we didn't ask for much. Drinks were excellent. It was surprisingly slower than I thought it would be for a Saturday night but I didn't mind that since it turned out to be a nice quiet evening. We will definitely be returning soon!

If I could add half a star I would have chosen it. We went with expectations of a great dinner and left with not ever wanting to go back to this place. One of the less than satisfying experiences we've ever had. The food was over priced and not worth the hard earned money we paid for it. The service was less than stellar and I would suggest that one really think twice before going here.

Great food, awesome atmosphere, and very fast service. I've been at this restaurant 3 times in the last month and I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend the Pulpo and the Chuleton. They were fantastic!!!

Omg, the atmosphere, the food, the service was amazing! Definitely one of my top favorites. And the best steak and coffee in town!

From the atmosphere to the food to the service, everything was amazing. We started off with the chorizo sampler that had 5 different types of sausages with a spicy mustard sauce and savory red pepper sauce, a chorizo and bacon wrapped portobello mushroom, mussels in a chorizo red pepper type sauce and a fresh cucumber, tangerine and cilantro salad. Everything was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and the flavor of everything we tasted just popped in my mouth. We topped it off with the best churros I've ever tasted, perfectly crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside paired with spicy cayenne chocolate and nut ice-cream. Omg. Delicious. Plus, our waiter was fabulous. He always had the hot crostini coming to sop up the amazing sauce the mussels were floating in and even secretly prepared a beautiful dessert for my in-laws 45th wedding anniversary. Highly recommend this place if you want great food, great service, and a gorgeous atmosphere.

Disappointing. I had been to Txokos before and, while it was as pricey as everything else in the area, the food was well worth it. The pulpo a la gallega was better than any pulpo I had ever had in Spain or anywhere else. That was then. This is now. We got the pulpo yesterday and it was the rubberiest piece of seafood i have had in my life. A far cry from the pulpo I had a few months ago. I brought that to the manager's attention and he explained that the octopus I had was the leftovers from the lunch batch (it was past 4pm when i had it) but they were making fresh octopus for dinner. So I get old octopus for the price of fresh octopus??? Thanks for the explanation! I feel a lot better now! Also, beware that, as of the writing of this review, the webiste states that their Saturday happy hour is 2-6pm when it really is 5-7.
