Had a blast. Drove from Tampa Bay to Daytona to get my very first surfing lesson. The guys were super friendly and service-oriented. I will definitely be coming back for more.

If I could give a zero, I would. We bought a Groupon for paddle boarding. When I called to make a reservation, the message said no reservation necessary unless a lesson was needed. We drove a half hour just to get a locked door with a number to call. When I called, the individual who answered told me I needed a reservation. So which is it do you need a reservation or not? Will not ever go back. Don’t drive there until you talk to a live person cause it might end up being a waste of your time.
The guys at Surfari were great! The prices are extremely reasonable, the equipment is all in very good shape and they threw in rash guards, leashes and a quick lesson for my wife and I, at no extra cost. My face ended up getting in a fight with a sandbar toward the end of our rental session, and the proprietors were very understanding and kind when I showed up with their equipment an hour and a half late (with a bloody nose and swollen lip to prove the sandbar won).
Checked out several places before choosing Surfari for renting paddleboard. Other places (Three Brothers, Daytona Fun Rentals, ) had very high prices, some weren't listed on their site so you have to call to find out. Surfari has pricing right on their website (50 for 24 hours!) The other rental companies were double that. We had several SUP's to choose from & the person we dealt with helped us decide what boards would work best. They helped us get the boards strapped down & we went on our way. The next day we were headed back from the springs & hit traffic & were running late. The guy said no problem and he stayed open an extra 1/2 hour & didn't charge us. Definitely would recommend
