Hmmmm..why 5 stars? I rarely give out 5 stars but this municipal course deserves it! On paper it looks like an average course in no man’s land. If you’re ever in the big stone city area, camping or fishing..bring your clubs and play this course. The most beautiful last 3 finishing holes for sure! Course is rather short from the back tee at about 6100 yds. A low handicap player could over power the course with drives but will still need a good short game to score low. Would definitely recommend & play again. Layout is testy, greens are smooth (not too fast or slow) protected by bunkers & water. The par 3s are short but challenging, especially #2. I don’t know how they’re able to maintain the course so nicely. Only saw two workers.
