Very Friendly and knowledgeable Staff. Process was easy and overall very pleasant. So excited to add a new member to the family!

My dog was on my property and on his leash when a child grabbed him after being told not to, my dog bit the child in a reaction to being tied up and grabbed by a stranger, he has never done anything like this before and the boy is fine with a minor cut. The family does not wish for action to be taken, but the staff and dog warden are rude and completely inconsiderate along with incredibly contradicting. I have talked to lawyers and other shelters and noone is understanding what procedures it is they are following, they have no clue what they are taking about. They are putting me through an unnecessary court battle which will cost me thousands, and potentially my dogs life i am 20 years old and have been on my own since 17 paying my own bills. My dog has never been dangerous or in trouble before. My dog did nothing to warrent this much reaction they only wish to get me off the phone and prolong the date in order to increase my debt to them. I have posted a fundraiser on my facebook to help me with these absolutely ridiculous shelter expenses, i appreciate any support you can give me.

I have adopted 2 fur babies from the shelter. I had great experiences both times. Everyone was professional and very nice. Thank goodness we have dedicated people in our community who truly care about the welfare of the animals in their care. Adopt, Don’t Shop!

The shelter workers truly care about the animals and people; they go out of their way to help on a regular basis. They are kind, innovative, hard-working, informed, and they follow the law. They know the animals well, act in their best interest, and make great matches between humans and pets. They are lifelong learners, open to feedback, and try their best to make sound decisions. I have many satisfying interactions with them over the years! Go there and you will see how they make the best of a tough job.
