This isn't a review as I have not had the privilege to visit. I am going to college here in Kansas. I am a disciple of Yeshua HaMashiach looking for a like-minded community of fellow believers. I come from a mainstream Christian family who forbid me to go and disapprove of my different beliefs. They want me to go to the Lutheran church near Benedictine where I am going. But I need to be where I belong. I feel Or HaOlam is the place for me. I was wondering if there is anyone already going to this wonderful place of worship who lives farther away (perhaps in Atchison?) and if they would be willing to help me make it to services. If so, please respond! Thank You!

I have yet to visit but read the reviews out of interest. Most are good. Your critics seem to think that being a \light to the Gentiles\ (sharing services with them) as Isaiah predicted, is somehow anti-Jewish or that any rabbi will do unless he follows Jesus. Christianity is an extension and fulfillment of Judaism based on a sizeable number of fulfilllied prophecies, not a contradiction or refutation of Judaism. Jews have several branches, Reformed, Orthodox, Conservative, Hasidim, Kabbalah, etc. Why is this a problem?

We have a love for each other, and for newcomers, which comes from the Messiah and King of Israel. We have a joyful worship time with celebratory community dance. We read from the Torah and communicate the clear meaning of the Hebrew text in the context of the promised redemption of Israel from guilt and sin through the atonement of the Messiah. Our purpose is to help Jewish people and those of all the nations to understand and establish the unchanging covenants G-d made with Israel.
