This is got to be the best nursery in Central Florida! At least it's the most complete with varieties of everything you can think of that I've seen. We traveled all the way from Dr Phillips across town because they're the only place we could find that had St Augustine plugs in three different St Augustine varieties. Well worth the trip.

This nursery is a beautiful place to roam and has the best quality of plants in the area. Visit the Butterfly Encounter is the summertime when the weather is warm! My spouse and I got married there in December 2020. We love it.

We always enjoy time at Lukas. The folks are nice and the ground are enjoyable to walk around.

Everyone is super helpful, took my son into the butterfly encounter and learned about the annual flutter pass. What a savings to visit. Didnt have the croton plants I was seeking, hence the 4 stars, but customer service is 5 stars.

I’ve purchased about 45 plants at various price points at this shop. Like other customers that have written bad reviews, I’ve experienced horrible wait times and inattentive staff but I brush it off. The reason that prompted me to write this is the recent email exchange I had with the owner/one of the owners. I explained that the Viburnums that I purchased were bunched together 3-5 in each pot and that a few, not all, have started to compete and become stressed. The others are growing very slowly because they’re stunted but the leaves are beautiful and very green and lovely. I said I do not know if their shop grows them or not but it’s a terrible thing to bunch them together to show a bigger plant and be able to sell it faster. Caleb Lukas’ response was to tell me that my plants have other issues and plants only compete once they’ve matured. Sorry, not the case. I’m glad I noticed the issue myself and have remedied the ones that weren’t thriving. Look elsewhere for accountability. If you choose to shop here, make sure to pay attention to the plants you buy. If you don’t decide to separate plants that are bunched together in one pot, you’ll likely end up with some dead parts of the bunch a few months down the road if not sooner and you’ll have a very slow growing shrub.
