I went to another vet before coming here, that vet of which gave my dog, Odin a bunch of pills, said that it was just a bacterial infection, then sent me home. My Odin a few days later lost his ability to walk on his own either from his refusal to eat anything, or his illness. Worried about him, I brought him to Banfield, whom was very kind to me. Banfield is short staffed, but, I'd wait as long as I'd needed to for my Odin. They stretchered my Odin in from around back, and had me park on the front again. They brought me terrible news when I entered. As it turns out, my Odin had a tumor, and his chances of survival at this stage sith surgeries was very small. I didn't want Odin to suffer any longer than he had to, and I must've cried holding him for almost an hour. But the staff was quite kind to me. The vets here found what another vet I took Odin to didn't, with ease. It was a hard hit, and I love Odin so much. I even cried a little while typing this. The people here are good people, and at least better than another vet I could name. May Odin rest in peace.

We love taking our cats to Dr. Velazquez and her staff. They are absolutely wonderful with the cats and take excellent care of them. They even call to check-in after shots or procedures. We use the wellness plans (which we love) because it takes care of all the routine items and we get reminders to schedule appointments for their exams. We will definitely continue to take the cats to Dr. V and her team!
I did not have a great experience with the previous vet in Owasso (he seemed a little too eager to perform unnecessary surgeries) so we have been driving into Tulsa just to avoid him. We went for a check up on Tulsa and Dr. Green happened to be visiting from the Owasso location. She had to deliver bad news to us regarding our American Bulldog (he had liver cancer). About a month later, we had to put him to sleep and chose to see Dr. Green again (this time in Owasso). I'm so glad we did. She was so compassionate with us and we knew our comfort with her would resonate with Perry when the time came. The Owasso crew even sent us a card to us a few days later and we completely lost it when we got it in the mail. I miss my Perry so much but it eases my heart to know he isn't in pain anymore and was taken care of by such caring and warm human beings. To Dr. Green and the Owasso Banfield staff: Thanks to each of you for helping us through such a tough time. Please know that our experience with you will follow us for the rest of our lives. ️
I got some tropical fish for my tropical fish. Petsmart is the most wonderful place.
