Owen Lumber was very helpful when we were trying to purchase an Andersen window for our sunroom. After contacting several different places they were the only ones to respond. And respond quickly. Within a few hours we had the window ordered. It came in when they said and was delivered a few days later. We also needed replacement glass on another window. That process was easy as well. When the glass came in the installer contacted us. All of this was done via email and a few phone calls. Everyone we spoke to was knowledgeable and courteous. We will definitely be repeat customers.

I found Owen Lumber when I was looking for a replacement pillar for my porch. None of the major home improvement stores carried the size I needed. I didn't want to wait for a special order or shipment, so I contacted Owen Lumber and was able to pick up the lumber on the same day. The staff was respectful, friendly, and even gave me advice on the approach to my project which kept me from making an unnecessary purchase. Prices were comparable to the major stores and the lumber I received was great quality. Highly recommend Owen Lumber. Great product, excellent service, and locally owned.
I couldn't be more dissatisfied with the customer service provided by this company. Certainly zero interest in doing business with the little guy. Full of misinformation and unreturned correspondence mixed with staff that acted oblivious when I finally had to come in to try and get some answers. Do not recommend. Will continue to use box stores and online retailers in the future.
Knowledgeable and straightforward. Seems like a good selection of lumber, though could use some improvements in their POS system for price look-up/pricing sheets. Do recommend.
Shane at the Lee Summit location is amazing, very knowledgable, friendly and a ton of fun to work with. We had heard about the sale so were in a time crunch to pick materials and get them purchased before it ended. He took time with us, helped us with all the little details and now knows the difference between a brown grey and a blue grey!! (Your welcome) Delivery driver was equally as awesome. He accommodated my neuroses regarding placement of the materials in the yard. This team rocks!
