The NC Martial Arts College has been around for over 30 years. I got my black belt from Master Shackleford many moons ago, and now, my daughter is taught by him. Coach Shack, as I call him, has a unique ability to connect with people and is an excellent teacher for the beginner or for the advanced student. I have taken martial arts at several different schools, and what sets Coach Shack apart is his eternal optimism and genuine care for his students. He is a man of impeccable character who is not only an excellent karate teacher, but also a true role model.
