The monastery sits on beautiful land, in quiet. I spent three nights at retreat here in April. The accommodations are simple, and I had everything I needed. The monks are gracious in their hospitality and in sharing what they have. I participated in all of the worship times while there, for guests are welcome, and found a deep peacefulness. I will be going again, and soon. I am thankful for the place and for the opportunity.

I used to spend a lot of time at St. Augustine's 40 years ago. It was a wonderful, welcoming, spiritual sanctuary. I am delighted to see that it's still there, still open after all these years.

A lovely place with wonderful and warm people, a place where one can work out life's many intricate details through solace, service, Goodwill, and come to an inner silence that will be beneficial to themselves and others as you come to believe and make empowering decisions that overshadow our past decision's and put the here and now into perspective and begin to live by spiritual principles! My journey, past, present, living in today, being still enough to hear the birds and beauty and the many aromas of life.. how wonderful indeed!

I found my Spiritual oness here and, with the kinship of the Brothers, developed a much stronger bond with God. Cannot wait to return. Peace be with you.

A serene place where one can find what is needed to reflect or connect, to seek solitude or find community, or immersion in the communal psalms & prayers shared. The meals, winsome prior, other residents all make this a welcome place with gorgeous Creation all around it, including deer, trees, & easily accessed trails on site.
