This is an awesome place to visit with kids. I took my 2yo there and it was the first time she had seen the farm animals she was learning about. We had a good time getting right up close to the animals. One of our favorite things to do was to roll down the hills there by the main house. Go on a dry day if you don't want to miss out on hill rolling and also because it will be super muddy on a wet day.

Plenty of farm creatures to keep you busy for an early morning or late afternoon. Most activities take place in the morning hours to include milking a cow, feeding chickens, feeding horses, hay ride and a tour through the old houses on the property. Everything is free and the staff is friendly. There is a information office that can double as a small classroom. Plenty of space to park, small walk to get to the farm from the parking lot. The walk way isn't very wheel chair friendly as it's all rocks and dirt.

Pretty cool place! Farm right outside of the city with lots of animals, trails, and a tractor ride. And...it's free! Great stop for the kids on a trip to Alexandria.
