went there with 2 kids, 10year old and 8 year old. Everything was well organized, staff was helpful and informative and 1 hour kayaking didn't cost a small fortune at all! They provided me with cords to to my youngest when she got tired and were overall helpful in creating a fun afternoon for us.

This is the place if you looking for Sailing schools, Marine Education, renting all types of water craft, there is also a very long pier if you want to fish. And even boat building. The Waterfront Center is a relatively new place between The Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park and Beach And Beekman Beach. I highly recommend it. Here you can also make reservations to sail on the the old oyster sloop Christeen around beautiful Oyster Bay Harbor and surrounding waters. Also this is the home of the annual Oyster Festival. Top Notch. I love this place their is no better. Also don’t forget to stop in at building J. Where the Ida May is in progress open to the public Tues. and Thur. During the Oyster Fest I like stopping in here. I Have also enjoyed many sails on the Christeen even when the wind would not blow thanks to fair sky’s and Captain Pete’s informative tour of the history around Oyster Bay Harbor.

Literally googled “Kayaking near me” and came across this mini gem. The service was great! The girls were all super sweet. They ran on time and check in was super smooth. My partner and I had an amazing time. We are ready to go back! Thanks so much we look forward to seeing you soon!

My wife and I have visited TWC sporadically over the last 10 years and it is typically a good outing. I would highly recommend visiting during the week if you can as the weekends can see crowding. Pretty seamless rental process with flotation devices included. Processed smoothly today with mask, social distancing, and sanitizing policies in place. Today was our first time on the water in a long time so I am not sure how long they have added this feature but there was an attendant out on the water checking in with paddlers to make sure they were okay. This is a very welcome addition as the paddle back can be harder to navigate, especially for beginners.
