I've been going to PacRim for about a year and a half now and I love it. The coaches are great and they will push you to do things you didn't know you were capable of while still respecting your limits. It's not a gym to be taken lightly but and it will require a commitment but it's definitely worth it. There's also a lot of really great people who go there as clients and it's very welcoming to new members. My only criticism is they need more space :-)

Pacific Rim has been amazing for my daughter, she has really found her niche here in Eagle River. This gym has offered the perfect balance of structure, discipline, fun and adventure all while feeling a part of a community. They have coaches of all styles that will fit your child’s age and personality. Can’t say enough positive things about Lee and Alexis, they are providing more than training. Great role models!

Writing this review from two angles... 1. As an adult training at the gym 2. As a parent of kids who train at the gym 1. The staff is serious and want you to work with great form and efficiency at a higher level than one 'thinks' they're capable of. This can be intimidating but is so important for progress and building self confidence under stress. There isn't a week that goes by that I don't see progress from the time spent at Pacific Rim. 2. As a parent of both boys and girls who love being active, this environment is priceless. The coaches watch and correct form and provide support for the kids to work together to spot and encourage each other's progress. My kids would workout here everyday for hours if they could. They love the progress they make and the level up opportunities they are given. Know that you will see changes in your mind and body if you really commit to what Pacific Rim has to offer. It's hard and exhausting, but rewarding in really exciting and life altering ways.

My family has been participating in classes at Pacific Rim for over 4 years. We have seen the gym grow and change to meet the needs of the community. This isn't a place where you drop your kids off for a quick 45 min \fun\ gymnastics class, this is a family-friendly community working towards healthier lives. My four children and I have enjoyed working hard to strengthen our bodies and minds in a variety of areas to include parkour, tumbling, strength, and cirque. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and are invested in all of their \clients\ as individuals. Each of us is challenged at our own level by the encouraging staff and fellow participants. The fact that they have managed to keep their facility open and continue their mission of helping people achieve life-long health during this difficult time is nothing short of amazing!!

This is the first place and and activity that my teenage daughter has truly developed a love for. Yes, after 13,000 miles and 4 duty stations (we are AD military family) she has found an activity she truly loves, works hard to improve and begs to go every day, even weekends. She comes home exhausted and happy every time, and constantly talks of her education at Pacific Rim. The Pacific Rim coaches and staff are demanding (in a positive way) and Coach Lee is a fantastic role model: he pushes every member to excel past their limits, not just physically but mentally as well. At any age! Well worth every penny. In fact, this very gym is direct factor on if we leave AK or stay another year. Pacific Rim is indeed special.
