I had my wedding at Sugar Lake Lodge in August of 2020 and they did an OUTSTANDING job. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the whole staff was courteous and helpful. I was very pleased with my whole experience and I would recommend this venue to any bride. Nadine Rhodes is the venues coordinator, and I was very happy that I had her handle the entire day for me. She really went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Take my advice and choose Sugar Lake Lodge to be your Venue!

Decent event hall, in rustic setting. Attended a wedding here. It appears to be an old boyscout camp. Bathroom setups are awkward. Bring your own catering.
As the DJ for the event, it was a lot of planning to get light sounds in the dinner room and a banger playlist in the other. Navigating between two rooms was slightly difficult and I'd recommend having a sidekick that's not afraid to use the mic. The extra help would have been great to have for set up and break down. For sound I used 4 Mackie SRM Flex systems. And they worked beautifully. Easily positioned beside a fireplace in both rooms, kept them loud and hidden. The venue does lack multitude of outlets so be ready to run long cables. At least 25 footers. As for the venue. Beautifully landscaped wooded area next to a horse farm. Located a short drive off Ohio I90 exit 205. The old church style rafters and cathedral ceilings allow for a great uplight glow. The owner is polite and helpful, easy to work with, and very knowledgeable of wedding planning. The outdoor landscape allows for a perfect treeline backdrop for photos, a great outdoor ceremony setting, and ample parking for guests. Truly a beautiful rustic/rural feel. Kudos to management. Just this past weekend October 24th we had my granddaughter's wedding at your venue, just wanted you to know it was very beautiful really enjoyed your venue. Everything was perfect including the horse.
First of all Walking inside that place gave me such an instant warm feeling! IT IS BEAUTIFUL. The owner has answered every question, email, phone call, that I have sent. My bridesmaids and I went to see it together and all fell in love with this place. Even with it being February, Snow everywhere, no grass, or leaves in sight because of that, it was STILL beautiful. We Booked ON THE SPOT. To top it off the owner seems like he really enjoys what he is doing and working with people! So far my experience has been great! And I will also leave another review closer to my wedding on how smooth everything went. I have no doubt this is going to be the most special day \u003c3 I could go on and on about the small details of the lodge, the cabins, even the cutest entrance! I couldn't be more excited!!
