They have nice piers to fish on. It is well lit and there are several public restrooms. The fishing is good there. The people are quiet and polite. Palacios Rocks!

Very relaxing and beautiful here. Lots of public access no fee!
We went down to Victoria. On the way back we wanted to check out some beach and try a little fishing for only a few hours, actually one and a half. See, we go to Galveston most of the time but with the traffic and the beach so packed and the fact that we usually don't have time, it seems Just too stressful as my normal day. When we drove into Palacios we actually could feel the peace of the town. It was strange it was so thick that you can just about cut it with a knife. And then Google lead us to the beach and we were hooked. I walked out to the water caught bait and then walk straight out to the jetty. That smooth. I fished for an hour and a half. I missed two Good Bites and I didn't care. I got back in the car and headed for Houston and a good humor talking like good old friends and and very at peace. I won't be going back to Galveston at least for a while. I know this sounds made up but Galveston really is over for me.
Wonderful stroll in this sleepy little town. Really enjoyed the beach, eating food from some of the local restaurants, and strolling along the pier
Nice tiny beach pretty clean. Love it because it's not crowded. Beware of the police love to go through the parking lot n run plates .
