Great selection of baits, rods and reels. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The prices are competitive overall and I love supporting local businesses! Anglers has a broad selection and their prices match Bass Pro Shop and Tackle warehouse in most cases. I will be back!

I love supporting local and small businesses, but this place no longer deserves my business. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 Pandemic, they lost my respect. During my last visit I went in to get some lures and noticed none of the employees were wearing masks. They outright defy the notion of wearing masks. Masks protect others from the wearer and is a sign of respect to everyone else in the community. I wear my mask to protect you, you wear a mask to protect me. If you don't want to respect me, then I don't want to respect your business. I'll go to the Salmon Shop in Palatine to buy my fishing gear.

Putting together a first tackle box and these gents fixed me up with all the right equipment and more importantly the information about all bait and tackle to use it properly. Knowing very little about fishing myself these guys have but extremely helpful and if your new go the sport like me do NOT let this place intimidate you. Make it your first stop. Cheers to these guys.
