I was looking to try some new local restaurants and noticed this one only a couple minutes down the road from my house. I read through some reviews and it seemed overall positive, with some suggestions to call in if you want faster service. I wasn't in a rush so I decided to go in and check it out in person to get the full experience. All staff seemed to be in the kitchen working when I walked in. I waited around for 5-10 minutes hoping someone would come out and take my order, however nobody ever did. I'll try coming back another time and will update my review if I am able to get service.

Mrs. George and Mrs. Petithomme are by far THE best Haitian cook there is.

I Came in to place an order and also it was my first time being there and the service was bad. When I came inside I notice their was a container of peas and rice not covered and was sitting in the lobby in the open which is unsanitary . I also can see a woman in the back in the Kitchen area and we made eye contact , but she did not acknowledge me as a customer. I got frustrated and left. Theirs several other restaurants who are much friendlier in the area who practice better hygiene and also if the health department came in and saw food not covered in the restaurant they could possibly shut down the business . The business need better business etiquette. If your going to be in the restaurant business be more friendly to your customers not just stare at them rudely and not properly greet them . Theirs more restaurants options in the area who have better service than this.

First time me and hubby decided to stop by. The foods quality was exquisite and fresh I'm normally picky when comes to trying new places. But this felt like home and I'm not even Haitian Small but a real charm . Juliana the owner was very polite professional and kind . We will definitely come back soon.

Please do not judge a book by its cover. A true hidden gem. The owner has so much passion for her food and you can tell. Was in town for my father's funeral and read the reviews from others (thank you for that). Stopped in and was worth the wait!!! Had a big plate of my favorite, cabrit (goat). Which she made to perfection.Had all the right spices and flavor. Truly reminded me of back home. Merci mami I will stop by next time I'm in town. It was a pleasure to chat with you. God bless you always.
