The best animal care county run facility I have ever seen. The staff are amazing they respond quickly professionally and show their genuine care for all the pets in their facility. We picked up a two-year-old lab mix and the experience was just the best ever. The staff were all very nice, kind hearted and genuinely care for every single dog cat rabbit horse etc. We bought the whole family over along with our county adopted multis poodle mix family dog. Everyone had time to meet and greet our newest addition to our family.

This animal care center does not care for your animals all they care about ESPECIALLY in a pandemic is how much they can charge you for your animal to be returned to you i just cant believe that people have to pay an OUTRAGEOUS amount just to get ones family member back!!! 0/10 Experience

Quick and easy adoption. Super clean. Love our new doggo.
Very clean and caring shelter. The adoption process was professional and quick. Attendees demonstrated a lot of compassion towards humans and animals. Compared to other shelters, I would be willing to take the long drive in order to adopt from this facility again. I highly recommend the Palmdale Animal Care Shelter!
