I adore their demolition derby and 4H displays. The midway, well, we stick to the games. But the food, the small town fair feel, and the community and daily events are wonderful for a county of this size. We truly love this fair. But I'm kind of neurotic about midway rides, so, take that with a grain of salt. There is a vendor with the best shaved ice! We can't leave without having had it. And the 4H food stand has really delicious food that supports an excellent cause.

It was our first time at the Wayne county fair and it was a cute little fair. Weather, flash rain in particular made it a muddy mess after a short period of time but that’s Mother Nature for ya. People were nice here and if there is another mullet competition here, my husband will win it again haha!
Nobody is in it because of covid 19, but the grounds are neat and ready for people.
We went for the annual barn dance and totally enjoyed ourselves! The band was great, got to dance, have a beer and visit with friends. Perfect night out!!
