This is a cute little market on one end of the Stanford Shopping Center. There is an old-fashioned butcher next door, and this market provides everything else you might need to complete a meal. This place is a haven for foodies. I stop by between appointments at the hospital to grab foods for a small picnic lunch, treats for a movie, or something to tide me over on the long drive home. While definitely not a real farmer's market, they do have a large selection in a small shop. You can find gourmet chocolate, any kind of cheese your heart desires, fresh and dried fruits and veggies, just about every type of nut common to the states, natural honey, natural whipping cream, torrone candy, and even an olive oil tasting bar. I snagged some dried mango and walnut-stuffed dates for my mom, and I am pretty sure that I will be picking up more for her on my next visit.
