I purchased a cosmos fireplace insert from Southwest Fireplaces in Frankfort in 2016 where I met Alan Rutherford, I recently was doing some renovations the the townhouse and spoke to Alan about having the fireplace re-stoned as I felt ( as well as he did ) that the way the fireplace looked with the brick could be easily improved upon. Alan's recommendation was to go with the Glacier Valley Savannah ledge stone. WOW!! What a difference that makes just look for yourself by looking at the photos. The mason who did the work did an outstanding job and now the fireplace is the focal piece of the house and now completed changes the look and feel of the townhouse. NOW the kicker, I live abroad. All the arrangements were via email and over the phone, this is a testament to Alan's communication skills and his ability to translate ideas and aesthetic design and to do an excellent job to to someone who admittedly is not good with envisioning finished projects. I like the look so much that i am going to have Southwest Fireplaces do a 2nd townhouse when time allows. Thanks Alan
