What a fun and educational experience. We were able to have a private excursion at Bear Creek Feline Center to visit and learn about these beautiful and majestic kitties. I’ll be honest, We expected a Joe Exotic/Tiger King type of experience, and I truly feel that show has given a terrible name to the people who care for large cats. It was beautiful to see the love and respect the caretakers and cats have for one another. All of the cats have been born and raised in captivity. They were all previously pets of some sort, each had a story and most were not well taken care of when they were finally surrendered to BCFC. I’m in awe of what this center does for these animals, to keep them safe and happy while they live out their lives(some were close to being put down, because what else are they going to do with them?). I truly appreciate BCFC for allowing us this visit. They’re always in need of donations for food, creating new enclosures, etc. If anyone is cleaning out a freezer and has frozen chicken or beef they’ll be getting rid of, they’d appreciate having it donated to help feed the cats. -Angela & Christi

We had a great time. The staff was great they even gave my son a birthday cake.
If you want to spend some quality time with people who actually care about the animals you will really enjoy this place, we have a special needs son they took time with him and we all had a great time. These people are truly awesome and care for these animals.
Enjoyed the experience. Donation is actually 100.00 per person.
