Craig is the best of the best! I have been taking my cars to him for years and he has always made time to take care of them and get them fixed very quickly and very reasonably. He will however scold you if you haven't kept up with your oil changes regularly! He is a great honest mechanic!

Unbelievable. Check engine light came on and I immediately pulled into a Firestone (S Cooper) which charged me 99 to diagnose the problem. The estimate was 857 for an evaporation canister, a vent control solenoid and a new gas cap. I told a lady in my small group from church about it and she suggested Craig's saying she had known him for decades and he was a Christian and honest. I drove by and he told me that the engine light was on because I didn't tighten my fuel cap down all the way and that there was a hose disconnected from the evaporation area. No charge. He saved me almost 900 just because I know nothing about cars. Highly recommend. While I was there I had him check the tail lights which were out and he fixed that in a jiffy for peanuts. I have no reason to ever go to any other car mechanic. Firestone should be ashamed of themselves

Craig's knowledge is amazing. I trust him to advise me and do great work on my vehicles.

I had been to another repair shop on Green Oaks and was told my entire air conditioning unit needed replacing and the cost was so unreasonable I made an appointment with my Credit Union to apply for an auto loan for Friday. The Tuesday before I was to go I called Craig's and made a Thursday appointment. I was told the unit was good, just needed new seals and freon. Encouraged I asked what replacing my thermostat and fixing my blinkers would cost. I had all fixed for less than the other shop wanted for fixing my air. I canceled my bank appointment.

I had read the good reviews for Craig's Auto and when my AC on my 2008 Ford F150 stopped blowing cold I took it in to have him check it out. He said that it needs a new AC and that it would be around 900. After he had the vehicle in the shop he said he needed some parts and it would be an additional 500. After paying him 1400 he released it to me and it was cooler but still not cold. When I took it back again he said he noticed it wasn't cooling like it should. I asked why he released it to me and he couldn't say. He tried to fix it without charging me but couldn't. I had to take it to the dealership and pay 600 because it was an electrical issue. Also had him look at my son's 2003 Chevy truck at the same time and he was unable to fix the loss power problem. Took it to another mechanic and spent 1,000. Craig is a small shop and he tends to make a lot of excuses as to why he can't fix it. He's a nice enough guy but I think he's incompetent from my experience.
