If you can go to Mass at the Casa in their new Church here, you should. It is a beautiful space built and inspired by the best of the Franciscan tradition, and the Masses and other liturgies that are celebrated there are very moving, healing, and beautiful.

It's hard to articulate... This is a special place. There's a sort of peace and lovingness throughout the campus and in the people that visit.

Holy Eucharist made with sesame seeds, honey and REFRIGERATED. I left the place asking Our Lord if this were truly He present in the Holy Eucharist. This was in 2004. Silly priest at the Altar of the Lord making jokes during the Holy Sacrifice. Never been back. St. Francis of Assisi would never approve.

Welcoming and engaged mass-goers, but its ew age\ vibe is not for those looking for a traditional catholic mass. No one kneels, even though they have kneelers; coordinated artistic hand gestures by the congregation during the Alleluia; music is performed well but very contemporary, a modern church design with colored lights and without any prominent display of saints or the BVM, etc. I also spotted 2 different people with dogs....in the pews! Not for me.
