Wonderful spot. Beautiful, quiet, gracious hosts. Over many years I have been a guest and every experience has been singularly wonderful. The cottages are neat and well kept, most with great views of the lake. Lots to do nearby. Susan and Toni are quite knowledgeable of nearby attractions and natural beauty.

Sunderland Cottages is an awesome place for an Adirondack vacation. Run by a very caring family that will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Beautiful location on the back (quieter) side of a good sized lake, but also not far from the towns of Schroon Lake and Ticonderoga. Great swimming right outside your door for both kids of any ages and adults. Row boats, canoes and kayaks are included in the rentals. Almost all the cottages are very close to the lake.

Three glorious days! One unexpected pleasure of our cabin was the thoughtfully equipped kitchen...cast iron skillets, lots of mixing boards and pots, good knives, even a bowl for letting bread rise. Paradox Lake is stunning, and even in September we were swimming in the crystal clean water. Sunderland Cottages would also be ideal for a group of friends or family to rent a few cabins. Every deck has gorgeous views; the moon reflected over Paradox Lake is an image I will never forget. A hidden treasure in the Adirondacks.

What a beautiful spot! Views are incomparable- perfect base for leaf peeping or just quiet contemplation. The host go above and far beyond. Recommend wholeheartedly.
