My gf and I came here to read to eat the burgers we bought. It seemed pretty quiet with other couples/people eating under the tree. Don't let the pictures fool you, it is actually pretty dark, but I had night mode take long. We didn't stay long because I forgot to buy drinks, lol, but it felt like it would have been really nice. As usual, with any park in southern california there were a few people parked with no apparent reason and teenagers , but we didn't have any trouble.

I LOVE THIS PARK It has two/three play grounds, a ton of space to walk up down and around, it even has a beautiful paper horse looking statue!!
Beautiful park. It appears safe even at night, recommend safe for families.
Visit The IBB2 Club at Progress Park for the weekly Farmers Market. Stop by our booth color a bag make a seed plant and just enjoy the music food fruits and vegetables at Paramount Farmers Market every Friday from 11 : 00 am until 4 pm. Hope to see you all there.
