Sold 4 identical cattle in terms of age and size. Good young cattle. When they were offloaded the hands split 2 head to to be run through the vent and 2 head went somewhere else. The 2 that went through the vet brought fair current market prices around 120.00cwt. The 2 they messed up on and stuck in a slaughter lot brought 40.00cwt. After they bid was over I went straight to management to get the problem resolved. They offered to pull he cows and sell the following week in the Heifer group. This time I was unable to attend but again these girls sold for 40.00cwt. If I had the chance I’d make them return the cattle so I could collect what was given away. What a racket they have going on here. If you have similar stories please let me know. I will pay for legal to discover what is really going on with this operation. 18 month of heifers that weighed 720lbs each should never be sold for a slaughter price. Shame on the ones that claim to know everything.
