I really find it funny that now these ladies want to praise and recommend Ms. Johnson's daycare after she received the last review by a former client what seems. I'm sure she is nice and spiritual and have a good program for the kids but it seems that the this is a messy daycare that all of a sudden want to clean up it's image by allowing friends to vouch for Ms Johnson. If her daycare needs work then let it be. But don't waste people time trying to paint a picture perfect center and it's not . The negatives seem alike in many ways. And that's what turn potential clients away. So let's be honest. But for now I'll find another route.

So I have been with Learn and Play Childcare located in Park Forest for a little over a year and a half now. Miss Johnson is very professional, and considerate. My son loves her so much, and so do I. The curriculum at Learn and Play is great. With her help my son has learned so much, he no longer needed speech therapy because Miss Johnson's program has him opening up daily, giving him the confidence to express his self. I appreciate the services at Learn and Play and as long as I am living in this area I trust Miss Johnson with my child and his safety. I love that Miss Johnson is a God fearing Woman, especially since religion is no longer in the schools, I enjoy the gift bags with spiritual quotes and Jesus loves you bubbles and stickers that she gives the kids during the holiday. We will continue to stay enrolled with Learn and Play and I recommend Learn and Play because it has a close knit family feel to it. Her center is very cozy and my son's first day he fell in love with her and her place.
I have known Ms. Johnson since my one and only child was 3 years of age. My daughter is currently 15 years of age and the relationship that both my daughter and I have with Ms. Johnson is beyond explainable. From the first day we met her presence and spirit was overflowing with love and acceptance. She worked with me when times got trying as a single mother. She loved/loves my daughter as if she was her own. This was my daughter first and last daycare experience because there was no need to fix what wasn’t broken. I thank her and love her and respect her profession and I am glad our day one experience led to a lasting relationship.
I have known Miss. Johnson for over 15 years. She has kept 3 of my 4 children I have known Miss Johnson since my oldest was 5yrs old whom is now almost 22 to my next to the youngest who is almost 18yrs old. She is more than just a child care provider to my family she is family. She's my children's second mom, she's a friend, nuturer, teacher, she's my sister in Christ. I'm so thankful that God has put her in our lives long after my children have outgrown her care. I still remain close to Miss Johnson & so does my children even though they are practically adults now. she is & always we be family not just a childcare provider. Due to Miss Johnson's love, guidance, & spiritual leadership my children have given their life to christ my oldest 2 children have graduated high school & are doing well for themselves my 17yr old graduates this year & is on her way to a choice of 7 universities including Penn State & interviews with Harvard university with a 4.7 gpa. Miss Johnson has kept in touch not only with me but my children as well when she didn't have to but she did. Miss Johnson's family is my family & my family is her family & I can honestly say that I have trusted no one else with my children but Miss Johnson she is honest, fair, loving,& caring. It's true when they say that it takes a village to raise a child she is most definitely one of the few villagers that is willing to go above & beyond for your child.
I've been going here since I was about 3, and this has litterally been my second home. Miss Johnson has not only opened up her home but her Hart to every single person that have walked through her door. This was not only me but my other 2 siblings. She has been a second mother to me and my siblings. She has been so much more than a daycare provider she has been a mother, teacher, friend and much more. I am forever grateful for what she has done for me and many others in my life. Even tho I'm 20 now she has still kept in contact with my family and shown how much she loves us unconditionally and constantly check up on no matter if she was going through her own problems. This has litterally been the best experience I've ever had and one day when I have my work kids she will be the woman I look forward to leaving my kids in her care.
