Not like it used to be. It was half empty. The one of kind items were gone. Its just a cheap home goods store now.

Old Time Pottery, Smiley Avenue location is packed with home goods. If you are looking for something unique for your home you'll likely find it at Old Time Pottery. Rugs, furniture, lamps, mirrors, kitchen tools, linens, garden tools are available in large amounts and good quality.

Disappointed. Since September of last year, the store truly has went down hill. Aside from some of the older regulars there (who are wonderful,) they have the rudest people ever on newly hired.

I normally love this store but I had a bad experience yesterday afternoon. I checked out with a cashier named Tom, and he was rude. I purchased several glass and ceramic items, along with kids toys. Normally I wouldn't have purchased the items but at this point I didn't want to hear my kids complain so I went ahead with the purchase. I advise that I had a gift card in my wallet, wasn't sure how much was on it but wanted to see if I could use it in addition to my normal debit card. Tom tells me that I should have called the number on the back of the gift card before I got in line to try to purchase anything and that he can't check the balance but we could try it. I advise him that I didn't realize I had a gift card and that wasn't the original plan of purchase. I then complete the checkout process and he slams my receipt down then bags up all of my glass containers but didn't wrap anything in paper. I mentioned to him that normally the cashier will wrap glass items in paper he ignored me and started to wait on the next person. I ended up wrapping my own items and the customer behind me apologized for his new behavior. this is my first time ever had a bad experience at old Time pottery and I thought it best that I let company aware.

They have a ton of stuff but you have to hunt to find what you are looking for. I'm still trying to find another pitcher bought last year.
