I met with Katherine Miller today. She was patient and sweet. The minute I walked in I felt welcome by the staff and people who live there, both. I filled out paperwork immediately, and am hoping to move in within 30 days. I CAN'T WAIT!!

Seems clean and I've seen numerous residents sitting around talking, every one seems nice. Only giving 3 stars because the lack a handicap entrance. They desperately need an automatic door on both doors. There are numerous residents that use walkers and wheelchairs and non automatic doors are very tough.

The people who work in the office and run the complex at this time do not \understand what it means to live the life you want\! They nitpick everything with the residents from whether or not they can have a community free table and what they can put on it to where they can park their walkers and wheelchairs when they are away for short periods of time. They took away seating in the lobby area because they didn't want people to be able to visit there! This is not a luxury retirement home, but it is THEIR home! As long as they and outside guests are safe then they should be allowed to hang out where they want and leave their walkers and wheelchairs in a safe easily accessed area where friends or family can retrieve them when returning home. The people working in the office are also not easily available they always have their office doors closed. They tried awhile ago to lock the inside front door during business hours for security. They should have their office doors open and be keeping an eye on who is coming and going that is part of THEIR job! So, do your jobs! Be friendly, personable if you can! Actually, I hope after seeing this post Steadfast will change the staff! I tried to talk to someone at Steadfast a few months ago, left a message with their answering service and never received a call back from them.

Tenants that have wheelchairs, scooters or power chairs need assistance on opening doors. This place should invest in electric power doors for them

I love visting loved ones in this place, but sometimes staff and people living in the apartments are so rude! Staff didn't do much when there was a major situation concerning multiple people.
