Firstly, the name. Cool Vintage Watches might be the best name for a shop ever. It fits the bill perfectly too. This place oozes cool. Everywhere you look: cool thing. Another cool thing. So much more than watches. Vintage nic-nacs and do-dads everywhere. Plus a pretty solid selection of records and even some stereo equipment. And the watches. So many cool vintage watches. Go figure, right? The only thing, is that prices are premium. Rightly so. This is a premium shop. Just look at it! Not only are you buying a watch, but you’re buying a brand. Plus the owner stands behind what he sells. Find that on eBay. If you’re going in for a repair, prepare to wait a couple weeks, as watches are not repaired in house. That being said, the job still gets done and if it isn’t done right, take it back and it will be. Good shop. Good owner. Places like this are few and far between, so go support it.
I had to leave before I bought the whole store. This place has SO MANY cool things in it. It'd definitely worth a look. You may just find an awesome hidden gem.
Fantastic shop and the owner is really great! I took an Omega watch in today that was in desperate need of some help. They took care of it right away. And were extremely accommodating to my questions and even helped me find some ways to change the dynamic of watch with straps I can change myself. They also have a ton of unique watches and antique items for sale. I will probably be back in a couple of days to buy a new peice. You won't be disappointed in a visit to this shop!
We experienced great kindness and hospitality at cool vintage watches. We had a modified bachelorette party of 5 family members. The wedding was postponed until the fall with the pandemic. John made us feel welcome as a willing participant of our safe and fun scavenger hunt, all while maintaining the 5 per shop restrictions. Thank you for contributing to a once in a lifetime day, in a hopefully once in a lifetime situation. ️
