This looked promising but after having a hard time cleaning my own raw squid, I started feeling blah. I totally forgot there's a hard membrane divider in squid that you have to take out and you have to do a good cleaning to get the black out because it's probably not ink. I also had to cut the eyeballs out because. The broth I thought wasn't that good. The sides were ok. The sauces were.. well, it was really hard to get a good custom mix done by myself. I'm no chef so I made some really weird combinations that didn't taste very good. They should at least suggest a good combination or something because I just don't want soy when I have at least 8 other sauces there to have fun with. In this cause, more was wrong for me, maybe not to a cook! The quality for the meat was good but not great. It was a little too fatty for my liking.
First time ever trying this spot! It's conveniently located in Old Town across the street from the Crack Shack and a little bit down from Buca Di beppo. The broths were rich and flavorful and the meats were tender and high quality. White assortment of condiments available and oh so many sauces. Excellent spot and definitely coming again.
Loved it! Careful if you order spicy stuff. Their \mild\ is super hot!
Delicious hotpot for affordable price. Not too numbing, too greasy or too salty. Service is not bad either
