Rockler is a great store with helpful staff. I went in to get some wood working materials (I'm learning to whittle). I finished my second project ever with materials I bought at Rockler: this lil' goat! (My first project was a pointed stick lol).

Very few wood working supply stores if any located in the city of Los Angeles. Rockler in Pasadena is the closest. They specialize in wood working tools and supplies. The staff is very friendly and have the knowledge of tools when a wood worker needs it. A great thanks goes out to rockler and their staff.

The staff at Rockler are great. As a younger woman I often get patronized in hardware stores. At Rockler they listen, take interest in my repair and diy projects, and help me figure out the right materials for the job. Most recently they helped me find the right epoxy and advised me on repairing stripped screw holes in wood in a better method that would be more durable than my plans.
