Amazing independent book store in the arts district Pasadena. Normally, amazing book readings, children events, and a wine bar. Great selection, and amazing atmosphere. Delivery and gift cards currently available during covid crisis. Highly recommend!

Vroman's is much more than a bookstore. You never know what you will find there, but it will always be good. I go in to browse often because I know I'll come out with something satisfying. It might just be the perfect card for an occasion or a book I forget that I meant to read. Their gift selection is always beautiful and interesting, too. At holiday times our whole family shops there, joining a crowd as joyful as we are.
A great space for diverse readings. So glad to see their LGBTQIA selections are growing and diversifying.
They are being very careful about how many people they let inside due the pandemic, for which I am personally very grateful. Very clean and organized in all areas. Fantastic and unique selection of books, gifts, cards and toys. Awesome, friendly and helpful staff. I've always loved Vroman's but it seems even better now.
Always a joy to visit Vroman's bookstore when I am in Pasadena from the Netherlands. A great collection of books and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am looking forward to be able to visit them again and enjoy their new wine bar.
