I don't know why this place has such low reviews. I went in for a schedule Endoscopy and everyone was super nice and made me feel very comfortable. The nurses, the anesthesiologist, EVERYONE. I felt very well taken care of and also cared for. Everyone was warm, inviting, and upbeat at 6am!

Just had surgery on my Gallbladder yesterday and this surgery center is amazing! The staff from the front to the staff on the back is awesome. I went in so nervous and everyone explain to me exactly what was going to happened and treated me so nice. The wait was as expected I had to get there at 8 and surgery started at 10. Its a 2 hour difference because they have to prepare you for surgery. The only thing that was a bit hard was putting on my clothes 15 minutes after waking up without any help. They did offer help but I was a bit shy and wish my husband would of been there. Anyway thank you all very much! Continue to be awesome.
I went in for hernia repair surgery. The wait was a bit long but I understand this is because of the doctor not the staff at the center. I came into contact with 5 people not including the doctor, from the lady at the front desk to the anesthesiologist to the nurses. Each person was kind and compassionate. It was my first time ever having surgery, they explained exactly what would be happening and really did a good job at putting me at ease. They made me feel reassured and like everything was going to be ok. And it was. After the surgery the nurse gave me ice to chew on and made sure my dad (who picked me up) was aware of how to care for me afterward. I had a smooth experience no complaints whatsoever.
I went in for an inguinal hernia repair and I must say that I was very pleased with all of the staff and surgical team. Henry, Diana and Mary were great. Dr. Arellano did an excellent job. As of today my recovery is going well with minimal pain and discomfort. The only downside to my visit was having to listen to GMA on the TV while in the waiting room, lol . I would highly recommend Paso del Norte surgical center for your outpatient surgical procedure.

Let me tell you from scratch: this place was amazing apart from-almost- the 4-hour wait. They gave me a hospital robe and made the IV as painless as possible. I then went to the surgery room and woke up feeling weird, the doctor gave me some apple juice and water. They then rolled me out in a wheelchair. That was the first time I had been in one. Loved it and would want to go back.
