I took my first archery lesson at Smith Point Archery with Jared and he was an amazing coach! He explained everything thoroughly and had a lot of patience. He was extremely helpful and personable. I can tell he is very passionate about what he does. He also made sure to go over all safety rules very clearly to avoid myself or anyone around me getting hurt. (And himself as well!) He taught me a lot. Smith Point Archery has a great, friendly, positive upbeat atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and kind. I felt very welcome when I walked in. I highly recommend checking this place out! You will not regret it. And the best part is that you will have fun while learning a lot. They even have a store with so many great products. I will definitely be going back soon!

Happened to be in the area and heard plenty of good things and enjoy their YouTube content. Sometimes it's not good to peek behind the curtain. 95% of staff were awesome but one bad apple can spoil the visit. I was looking for a specific case and arrows for the kids. Questions were met with less than enthusiasm. It was not close to end of the day so I don't know what was up. Instead of dropping s on arrows and a case I made a token purchase to support local business and an Archery shop as they are getting scarce in these days.

So strike 1. I spent 2000 on a carbon bow setup an asked about tuning it and they told me its an extra charge(60) to get it to shoot correctly. Strike 2 paid for the tuning because i had no other choice at the time and because we couldn't get a perfect bullet hole we had to make another appointment (another 60) to \work on it\. Last strike was I came in a couple months later to get a box for the same bow i bought from them as i was selling it/shipping. I was treated like an annoyance and was just thrown a bow box which didnt even fit the bow. They have many of unused boxes. Ummm hello If I sell a bow I am going to be in the market for a new bow!! Too bad this place has the best selection on the island but I will not be returning. I buy 2-3 new Flagship (1000)bows every year BTW so they lost a repeat customer. Only good take away is buying my own equipment and setting up my own bows.

Costumer service was POOR in my experience. Older gentleman behind the counter didn’t wanna help from the moment I walked in. Wanted to purchase a com-pound Bow. All my question where met with sarcasm ( even after explaining to the gentleman I had no knowledge ) come to find out majority people I meet ( Caucasian) said I should have never came here especially being (African America) which I strongly hope wasn’t why the service was poor. Product wise these guys have a TON of product
