This a beautiful 180 degree view from neat the top of Palomar Mountain. The road to get here is perfect for the windy canyon road driving enthusiasts. You won't be disappointed. There is another overlook near the bottom of Palomar Mountain that overlooks Lake Hensley and the car valley it sits in. Also,I there are several casinos within driving distance for a place to stay, play, and eat!

I love that there are so many places available to see the surrounding landscape. Today was a day where the clouds blocked most of the view, but I remember my trip to this place the last time I was in California and it is fairly interesting. The bathrooms we're clean and accessable, which was a huge bonus on the windy mountain roads.

Great view on a clear day out to the Coranado's south and north and west to channel islands. Bath can be a little rough depending on if people have trashed it.
