This is such a fun place. We visited in the beginning of January and the temperatures are not really that bad. Inside the cave it felt warm. This is an extremely charming place. The kids played on the playground in front of the restaurant for nearly an hour. Once inside we had a down into the cave with the guide. He was very funny and clever. It was a fascinating experience. Super cool. We are excited to come back and Seymore. We were only there for about an hour and a half as well it was a stop on the way. But we recommend spending at least a day or two.

Deano was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Had us cracking up from start to finish but still made sure we were safe. The cave is lit beautifully and is well with the price of entry.

The regular cavern tour was about 45 mins after a quick elevator ride down the shaft. Mostly ramps but there are some stairs inside the cavern. The grotto is only opening weekend and reservations for lunch are needed in advance. Our tour guide was Baeu who was great, very knowledgeable and charismatic. It's about 60 inside the cave which is perfect weather when it is 110 top level. You'll visit underground bomb shelter with food, water, Tp and necessities. Some wedding have taken place here. If you pay attention, some of the veils and flowers are still there and in great condition! A large prehistoric sloth that fell in the cavern and got stuck. The claw marks are still visible of where it tried to climb out (poor baby). You may even recognize a few famous spots where Ghost Adventures came and filmed an episode here. Keep an eye out for es spookies. Show up early so you can visit the cafe (burgers, salad, fries, etc) and gift shop!

What an amazing stop! We arrived a few minutes before our tour and were able to explore the grounds and gift shop. They have some pretty cool and unique things to look at! Our tour guide was Reggie and he was awesome! We was very knowledgeable and excited to tell us all about the caverns. The whole tour lasted about an hour. We would recommend visiting this place if you have the time!

What an unexpected surprise. I thought this might be just some wide spot in the road to suck people in and clear out their wallet. We had such a great your and had no idea how big and fascinating this place was. Our guide was fantastic and had lots of great stories to share along the way. We are already planning a trip back to spend the night down below.
