Great place to stop after a long car drive. Car and Truck parking. Picnic benches, vending machienes, water fountains, restrooms, dog walking area, free panflets and maps of the state.
They have a fence up around the lake, but there's a opening you can sneak through to go fishing off the rocks across from Marion Co park. During the day I hear there are lots of green sunfish. At night I hear there are big blue cats and gars.go to the anchor inn for live bait.
Very clean restrooms and grounds. Nice area for you to take your pets to. Easy to exit and enter the highway.
Bathrooms were clean and had handicapped entrances and stalls. Good place to catch a fast nap and get back on road. God Bless and may he keep you safe during your travels.
