The launch has been redone some time in the last few years. Easy access if you have a caddy. You can not paddle up stream, there is a some what steep area a few hundred feet up stream. The water was somewhat low but listed as over two feet, still too low. It is definitely a one way paddle. Not sure how high the water would have to be to paddle over the rocks to come back up stream. Heading down stream we found small area with rocks. The first one we were able to go over. The second I got hung up on the rocks. And had to get out of the kayak. At this point we decided to turn around since we could see more rocky areas down stream. Heading back up we could not paddle over the first rocky area. The bottom of the stream is mostly slippery rocks. I would love to go back and do a one way paddle when the water is higher. The area is pretty.

We had small inflatables,it was a little weedy, but thats nature
Extremely peaceful and beautiful. Clean shoreline. Definitely would go back
Steep embankment, covered in glass! Water was low, slimy rocks and current made it impossible to go far in a kayak.
