With all the great food in Miami, El Balcon stands out! I called in my order, 2 tamales and the fried pork, with a sugarcane / lime juice and it was absolutely amazing. The beans and rices were delicious! The tamales were the biggest tamales I’ve ever seen (one is almost enough for two people). Everything was cooked perfectly and prices are very good.

We were staying in the area and looking for something we had not tried before. Cinthya was very kind and patient with us as we were navigating the menu and deciding what we wanted to eat. The food was amazing and the portions were plentiful! Definitely got our money’s worth and will come back here again in if we are ever back in town!
Went with a Colombian friend who guided us through the menu and he and the rest of the group, which was unfamiliar with that type of food, was impressed and very happy. Everything was delicious. They also accommodated a party of 35 - including a soccer team - an hour before close and had the food out in 15 minutes. Then they gave the boys free empenadas. Very good experience.

Food tastes amazing and the people that work there are very pleasant. I would come here much more often if I could afford it. Prices aren't cheap but they aren't also very expensive either.
