Used to come here often for their food as it was good and prices were reasonable. After last night, they lost a client. Came in for take-out, prices went up and portions got smaller. They also charge you for paying with card a mandated extra fee other than taxes. The customer service was terrible. I stood there waiting for my food which took 25 minutes to be ready and restaurant was empty. I asked for a slice of lime with my food and said they had to charge me 1 for it as the owner stated limes are becoming too expensive and had to start charging. Also asked for crema for gallopinto and also tried charging me 1. Mind you, I paid 40 on just the food and drinks. Cookers were fighting in the back with each other, apparently not knowing who needed to cook what. Finally got my take-out and get to the car and did not have any utensils and was missing one of my sides. Had to come back in for utensils & just didn’t bother about the side was missing. I should of paid attention to reviews similar to mines and never came here to waste my money on poor customer service and stress on a Friday night trying to get takeout. They treat you as if they are doing you a favor and giving you free food. Do not waste your time here.

I visited this place today, it has excellent food, reasonable prices, authentic Nicaraguan food, the food reminded me of my grandmas cooking when I was a child, Good customer service, I see no reason on why you shouldn’t come here, i had a great time totally worth it!

This used to be a great restaurant. We used to take all our friends and family when they came to visit because they had great food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, for the last few months, many things have taken a turn for the worse. The prices have increased while the portions have decreased significantly. Additionally, they have added a service charge of about 4-5% when you use your credit card that is not disclosed prior to paying. Then, they state on the menu that they will automatically add a 15% service charge when there are 6 or more guests -- which is more than reasonable. However, last time we went they imposed said charge with only TWO people at the table. To top it all off, the last time we called for take-out everything was even worse. In a single order, ALL of this went wrong: (1) we asked for 6 rice portions (which they served) but were charged for 12; (2) the nacatamales we ordered were half their usual size, yet pricier; (3) the pickled cabagge that comes with all meals had been reduced to about a third of what it used to be; and (4) the 2 meals we ordered were one price if we had ordered online but a few dollars higher when we got the check. All and all, we wound up paying an extra 20 for our order. Needless to say, we will be taking our business elsewhere. While it is understandable some restaurants might need to make some uncomfortable decisions to keep their business afloat during this difficult time, they should be honest about additional charges and updated policies. Overcharging your loyal customers is a terrible strategy to keep your business alive.

I used come here frequently but after today I won't be coming to this restaurant. They try to charge you for using credit card a fee and no sign about the charge anywhere. They also label on the receipt as a cash discount fee. Now why is it label that way? Does that mean if I pay cash I get a discount no. The lady in there is rude when you question the charge. When I did she got nasty and was unprofessional. Don't come here service and food quality not the same.

I love the food but Service is horrible... You order your food ahead of time.. To then when you go Pick it up.. Everyone there busy behind the counter and not one person acknowledge you.. I understand you are busy, but a quick.. Hi, be with you in a moment goes a long way.. They need customer service training... I know of a company who can help. All In one Consulting Services.. Give them a call to help you...
