The food was good when I ordered 2 previous times before this one. I ordered my entree with two sides, one of those sides being green beans. The green beans were very good, soaked in juice and tasty which prompted me to come back again. This last time I ordered the green beans, I believed I was going to get the same thing from what I’d gotten last time, very good, soaked in juice and tasty. Only to get my food and the green beans did not look or taste the same. You was still able to taste the “out of the can” after taste after every bite. I was very disappointed. I could’ve cooked that at home. So now I’m under the impression, that it’s a hit or miss with the green beans depending on who the cook is. The previous times are ordered the smothered turkey wings and it had no taste to them at all, and I mean at all. It tender but was drowned in grease with no flavor. The seasoned rice tasted old with no flavor as well, it was also hard. They also do not except any other form of payment besides cash. For this to be a business that has been around for a while, they should have all forms of payment. Very disappointed with my experience here and don’t think I’ll be returning.

Pictured below is the jumbo shrimps with 2 sides of mac and cheese and regular broccoli. The food was gud just a tad bit too salty. Shout out to the chef and the young lady(manager in Miami location) for the experience. I’ll be back to see what that fish and grits do
Fine place for tasty American food. nice place to meet and catch up with family. nothing but pleasant experiences here. prices are appropriate for the quality. if it wasn't far from my work i would come by more.
Very poor service on what seemed like a slow night. I was dispatched to this restaurant for a delivery that only paid 3.75 and I had to wait almost 45 mins for this order. About 20-25 mins into the wait, they had me contact the customer to tell them that they didn’t have an item available....really, after 25 min you realize you no longer have an item??? You should be more considerate of the delivery drivers that help serve your customers. In many cases we don’t even make minimum wage an hour waiting around.
So I decided to try this place after reading so many awesome reviews on here, but in my humble opinion this place leaves much to be desired. The woman that took my order over the phone was very pleasant. After taking my order she advised that the food would be ready in 20 minutes. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes. To top it off my order was wrong. I ordered baked chicken, candy yams, potato salad, and a side of Mac n cheese for my son. I ended up with fried instead of baked chicken and had to wait a few more minutes for them to switch it out. She did compensate me with an extra piece of chicken. When I sat down to eat the food I realized that she didn’t put any utensils in the bag. No fork, no knife, no napkins. Luckily I was home so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Now on to the food.... Baked chicken: Rating 2/5. It was sitting in a bed of chicken grease, broth, or whatever and tasted soggy. It was also a bit bland. I wasn’t a fan. Macaroni and cheese: Rating 3/5. It was over cooked. The noodles were soggy and the cheese was a bit burned. Potato Salad: Rating 4/5 No complaints here. Candy Yams: Rating 4/5 They were okay. Will I be back? I doubt it.
