Had an issue with an automobile and had gotten a recommendation from an Auto Supply store to check at West Marine for what I was looking for. Not only did they have it, but the assortment of alternatives was pretty good. As well, the folks there actually walked me back to the product and gave a recommendation on what would probably work best for our car problem. I'm not a boat guy, but I highly recommend these folks !

Employee's need customer service training here. Despicable bad attitudes here at this store. Waited 10 minutes for a Employee to come over to serve me, I was trying to buy 3 life jackets. One of them was too busy talking to a customer in the fishing rods section, he kept glancing over and could see i was waiting to be checked out. He then took his sweet time coming over and placed his customer's rod and things on the counter in front of me, but I'd had enough and left the store. Worst service and attitude ever at that store.

The manager Bill was helpful and answered all the unique questions thrown at him. He was patient and provided honest opinions that you rarely receive from merchants. Store is clean, fast service, new and empty.
