Nice place to go for a hike. Not crowded most days.

What an amazing area. There's 2 different entrances to enjoy this park from. There are tons of dogs and children here and it's just all around great. Truly the best dog park I've ever been to and would recommend to anyone.

Right west of Penrose. So-so road further in. (I didn't go too far) Sturdy 4x4 probably best. Nice views and feels like an old western movie set.

Wonderful opportunity to het people outdoors. Various types of terrain. Plenty of wildlife to view. Running creeks.

Probably would have been great had google nit taken me to a closed gate 50 miles out of the way.

Beautiful, quiet, and relaxing... Bit of a drive, but worth it... Old abandoned homestead is neat to explore!

Great loop hike as long as you don't mind getting a little wet. Amazing views. Hiked in December. Way too hot for Summer hiking.

If you go to the website, you will find directions to the south west entrance. No overnight camping. Lovely to drive through, take care when hiking--there are no signs warning of rattlesnakes in the area, just a small green stuffed snake on the trail.
