Made couple trips to the nursery over the past weeks looking for shrubs/plants for my front garden areas. The staff here is just wonderful - knowledgeable and courteous! I must had met/spoken to 5-6 different people around the nursery, from those at the register to the stone area. Everyone was willing to help. Their guidance made a world of difference in the decision-making process, being a plant dummy myself. Service shines at this place! And to me that’s enough to come for my future gardening needs.

Kelly was incredibly helpful in assisting us with butterfly plants! She was so sweet and passionate about it all! But what really took it over the top was her care with our 3 yo son. He recently got stung by hornets so he’s pretty scared of all bugs right now. She went out of her way to show him around the butterfly garden and talked with him about all the butterflies and their habitats. She made him feel so safe around the bumble bees when he started to panic. Thank you so much Kelly!

Always love visiting Hoerr nursery. Not only do they have amazing plants in spring, summer and fall, but all year round they have beautiful gifts! The staff is ALWAYS helpful!!

First time I went I wasnt treated very well. My dirt covered shorts (from you know doing yard work) and sleeveless sweaty stained tshirt didnt mingle well with the usual clientele with kahkis and polos. The worker I spoke to was rather short with their answers like I was wasting their time and when i asked what some of the symbols mean on their tags they didnt know nor make much effort to find out. Made me feel like I didnt belong there. Left without buying anything. Second time I went expecting the same treatment but decided to give them one last shot. The lady I spoke with was very pleasant and helpful and made me feel welcomed as did the cashier. Maybe the first visit I got someone having a bad day but still...
