We reached out to the owner Dave Spiess when we were looking at adding security cameras to our commercial property. Dave came out and walked the property, asked some great question and recommend cameras to make sure that we had appropriate coverage. Dave was professional and very knowledgeable. We were considering buying a big box store 'out of the box' package and installing it ourselves. We looked at the numbers and decided that the cost savings of doing it ourselves, figuring it out, etc. wasn't worth the headaches. We also evaluated a large nationwide company. The nationwide company tried to push into a \standard package\. We hired the Select Security team. They showed up on time, their technicians were very professional and knowledgeable. Once we saw what was involved with a professional installation, we were glad that we didn't try to do this on our own. We are very happy with the end product and the service that we received. Well worth the investment to have a professional company do this work. We highly recommend Dave and the professional team at Select Security.

Simply put, these guys know what they are doing. I didn't want to pay some out of state national organization for my security install and monitoring. Select was the answer.
We switched our home alarm company to Select Security and went from land line to our cell phones. They have great customer service and explained the new features to us. If you need an alarm for your home or business call them they will help you out.
We instaled Select Security Sysyems in 2012, signed a 3 year agreement because we included some equipment and we paid 178 the first month and then paid them on time each month for 3 years. We rarely used the system because of false alarms, the police said we would have to pay a fine if we got another false alarm. So when we finally reached 3 years we called to cancel. We were told to send it in writting which we did. We got an invoice for 1340 dollars and a copy of the contract showing a tiny auto renewal clause saying that we had to send the cancelation in writting a month before the expiration of the contract or the contract would renew or another 3 years. This tiny font in lower case much smaller than the first 3 years. I called in shock and eventually spoke with the President and CEO David Speiss who said we knew about this clause because we signed it so we have to pay it as the only option or he would take us to small claim courts. It was too late for any other option, just to pay 3 years of service that we have not received plus interest. Today we lost in small claims court despite the mouse print, even though the clause was burried, and we had to pay his court costs as well and he stopped our monitoring service. This company is not fair and we have been taken advantage of.
