After looking at several daycares, the Young School was head and shoulders above the rest. The facility is light & bright and the teachers are so caring. They encourage independence & take special interest in each child. We know our children are safe & happy as they explore & learn about the world!

The Young School is NOT your “typical” daycare. We were happy with our previous daycare but we absolutely love The Young School. It is a life changer! The growth in our granddaughter in just the few months she has attended is Amazing. The teachers and staff are sincerely warm and caring, as in this is not just a job to them. The rooms, or Cottages, are unique and creative. The play/learning centers are always set up and available for play with real life things like pine cones, sand, twigs, blocks, paint, books, and a fishing boat created from cardboard. Activities and experiences that really get the imagination and creativity flowing. Not to mention the learning. Our granddaughter does not even realize she is learning. She will mention something and we’ll smile because we know she learned this during her daytime activities. If you’re considering a new daycare, you must visit The Young School! You will not be disappointed!
It took us awhile to stumble upon this school, but I’m so happy that we finally did. My little boy is so happy here. He comes home everyday boasting about how his day at school went and what he learned from his teachers. I know that he is happy, safe, and well taken care of everyday. They also have an app that the teachers use through the day to notify every bathroom use, every nap, every meal, and 1 picture a day. They do an amazing job at making parents feel at ease.
The classrooms are beautifully laid out and it's a very clean environment. They have the nice wooden toys and mats for the children to lay on and play and the use a really cool app to communicate with the parents throughout the day. The app logs every feedings, diaper change, sends you pictures of your child and allows for communication between you and the childcare provider. They also have a fish tank in the infant rooms that children enjoy watching. Downsides are that it's very expensive, you have to provide your own sheets and bibs each week, they don't let you leave your car seat there each day for alternating pickups (so you have to buy two even if your car seat works with a base) and the woman in charge of billing NEVER returns your call and works offsite. She will only email you so you can never speak to anyone directly about billing questions or issues.
My son has attended The Young School for two years now, and he loves everything about it. The teachers and staff have done an amazing job in preparing him to enter Kindergarten next year. His skills and abilities have definitely flourished since he's been enrolled. A great choice that I've never doubted.
