They are off to a poor start. Yesterday I called radiology to make an appointment. A person in radiology (E.), asked me to hold. However instead of putting me on hold, he put the phone on the desk for approximately 11 mins. and I listened to him type and have small talk with others. He refused to answer a simlpe question, which could have been accomplished in 1-2 sentences. As veterans we feel very fortunate to have this care, we never expect perfection, we understand the limited resources. That being said, when you feel that the person on the other end of the phone is intentionally trying to be difficult it is a depressing and anxiety producing experience. UPDATE 10 emails, dozens of phone calls, STILL NO APPOINTMENT.

UNBELIEVABLE that this place exists! I'm amazed at the peace and solitude I find here. The staff are helpful and nice. You will always run into the exception wherever you go, so don't let one person's experience trouble you, strive to make your own (report them if they are terrible). They have many programs to help Vets. If you have substance abuse issues, PTSD, Homeless, physical disability, broke, anything really, they can help you. The meals are extremely wonderful and tailored to each individual. There are shuttles and buses that travel to Perryville, Elkton, Cecil County, Harford County, and to the Baltimore VA, as well as the MARC/AMTRAK trains.

Tried to get some labs done and they never got in contact for me to schedule them. I have tried several times. Doctor consultation was never logged in my patient portal. During COVID, so take it for what it is but the customer service/follow-through is awful. Look for other options if you can or you need to keep calling them. Tried them out but now I am looking elsewhere. --Thanks for the response but luckily, I have other options. I feel sorry for those that don't and wish you all the best of luck! Hopefully your experience is better than mine!

Definitely the worst VA clinic ever. I never got compensated for my travel to appointments, and one time I went to my mental health appointment and they thought I was called in to get injections. Probably would've killed me.
